That’s a wrap on international breaks…finally! Club football is back, though Man Utd fans will have to be patient a little longer as the FA Cup takes center stage in England. The marquee fixture sees Man City host Liverpool as they aim for a 3rd win over the Reds this season, while Arsenal head to Southampton.

Over in Spain, Atletico lock horns with Barcelona for the fourth time this season, and they’ll face off twice more in the Champions League over the next 10 days. Insane, right? Either way, it’s shaping up to be an action-packed weekend, and we’ve got our top picks lined up for the games you won’t want to miss.

FA Cup: Man City vs Liverpool: Full-Time Prediction & Betting Tips

salah-liverpool-man-city-vs-liverpool-fa-cup.jpg

Manchester City return to the Etihad riding a serious wave of momentum as they face Liverpool in this FA Cup quarter-final and there’s plenty here for the online betting community to dig into.

City’s season looked shaky recently, but that EFL Cup win over Arsenal (2-0) feels like a reset. They’ve also already beaten Liverpool twice this season, including a 2-1 comeback at Anfield, and could make it three wins in one campaign, something they haven’t done against the Reds since 1937. That alone sets the tone.

At home in the FA Cup, City have been almost untouchable. They’ve won 17 straight matches at the Etihad in this competition, and 19 of their last 21 overall. Even more telling, they’ve won 31 consecutive FA Cup games outside of semi-finals and finals. That’s elite consistency, and it’s the kind of stat that naturally leans toward a City win, especially at home.

Then there’s Erling Haaland. He’s scored in each of his last three home games against Liverpool and has 9 goals in 11 FA Cup appearances. Add his recent form against the Reds (3 goal involvements in his last 2), and he’s an obvious “anytime scorer” pick, and we have the best odds for that.

Liverpool, though, aren’t without their own narrative hooks. Mohamed Salah is expected to return and, with his announced departure looming, there’s a bit of a “last dance” feel. He has 21 goal involvements against City - only Manchester United have suffered more - and he’s scored in his last three FA Cup appearances. One more would put him in rare company for the club.

But the bigger concern for Liverpool is form and focus. A poor loss to Brighton before the break sums up a tough season, and with PSG in the Champions League next week, rotation or distraction could creep in. They’ve also struggled for consistency, and injuries haven’t helped.

That said, Liverpool have a surprisingly strong FA Cup record against City, winning the last four meetings in this competition. They’ve also progressed from 17 of their last 19 quarter-finals, so backing them to compete - or even find the net - isn’t far-fetched.

Still, the numbers tilt heavily toward Man City. Their home dominance, recent head-to-head edge, and overall FA Cup consistency make them the safer pick. Goals also look likely - both sides have attacking firepower, and recent meetings suggest neither keeps it tight for long.

In betting terms, City to win, Haaland to score, and both teams to find the net all stand out as strong angles heading into this one. But, if you want to play it safe, especially with Man City winning, you can use 1UP to lock in the best odds and win that selection the moment City score

Tips:

Atletico vs Barcelona: Over 2.5 Goals Combo Bet

Ademola Lookman of Atletico Madrid

All eyes are on the Metropolitano this weekend as Atletico Madrid host Barcelona in a high-stakes clash that could shape both the title race and their upcoming Champions League fixtures.

Barcelona come in as league leaders, four points clear of Real Madrid, and unbeaten in eight games. They’ve also had the upper hand in this fixture recently, winning four of the last five meetings, including a 3-1 win earlier this season. But there’s a catch - all four of their league defeats this season have come away from home, which immediately raises questions for bettors.

Atletico, meanwhile, sit comfortably in fourth with little pressure in LaLiga, but that could make them dangerous. Their focus is clearly on cup competitions, yet their home form is hard to ignore. They smashed Barcelona 4-0 at the Metropolitano earlier this year (Copa del Rey) and tend to play better in front of their fans - more shots, more control, and far fewer chances conceded.

Stylistically, this is a clash of opposites. Barcelona rely heavily on open play (69% of their goals), while Atletico thrive on set pieces (22%). Interestingly, Barcelona’s attacking output drops significantly away from home, while Atletico score nearly three times more at home than on the road.

The big news ahead of this tie (which favours Atletico) is that Barcelona will be without Raphinha. The Brazilian forward (19 goals and 8 assists this season) is expected to be out of action for 4-5 weeks and will miss all three games against Atleti. Also, Frenkie de Jong is likely to be absent for this game as well.

For betting angles, this doesn’t feel like a straightforward Barcelona win despite their league position. Atletico’s home strength and previous 4-0 result make them a live underdog. Goals could go either way, but both teams scoring looks a solid play, with the matchup likely to be tight, tactical, and decisive in moments.

Also, with the higher stakes UCL clash coming up, I wonder if both managers wouldn’t want to give too much away in this game. These sides have played three times already this season and will meet three more times over the next 10 days. The one pattern that we’ve had in those previous 3 are goals as they’ve produced an average of 3.6 goals per game.

Tips:

Southampton vs Arsenal: FA Cup Betting Tips

Kai Havertz celebrating a goal for Arsenal.

Arsenal head to St Mary’s as clear favourites, progressing from 45 of their last 48 ties against lower-league sides and winning 14 of their last 16 quarter-finals. Gabriel Martinelli is one to watch too, with 5 goal involvements in this season’s FA Cup, all against lower-tier opposition.

But Southampton isn’t just making up the numbers. They’re unbeaten in 14 games (11 wins), knocked Fulham out in the last round, and have already beaten Arsenal in this competition as recently as 2020-21. They’re also chasing a historic run, aiming to eliminate multiple top-flight sides in one campaign.

On paper, Arsenal should get through, but Southampton’s form and momentum make them a live underdog. Still, it's hard to bet against the Gunners here.

Tips:

Mallorca vs Real Madrid: Best Odds & Full-Time Prediction

kylian-mbappe-real-madrid-mallorca-vs-real-madrid-laliga.jpg

Real Madrid head to Mallorca knowing a win could cut Barcelona’s lead to just one point and the numbers lean their way. Los Blancos are on a five-game winning run and boast the best away record in La Liga (30 points from 14 games, 9 wins). They’ve also won their last three against Mallorca, though the reverse fixture needed a comeback (2-1), hinting this may not be a walkover. Something tells me, with their focus on the Champions League tie against Bayern, Madrid will want to have this tie wrapped up early and thanks to our HTUP feature, you can profit from that.

Mallorca sit 18th but are scrappy at home, losing just 4 of 14 and picking up 22 points. Survival is on the line, so expect a fight especially with the league’s second top scorer, Vedat Muriqi (18 goals) leading the line. Back Muriqi anytime scorer for 2X+ your betting stake. Worth the punt!

Tips:

Inter vs Roma: Bet of the Day – Lautaro Anytime Scorer

Lautaro Martinez celebrating a goal for Inter Milan in Serie A

Inter returns from the break under a bit of pressure, but they’re still in control of the title race and this clash with Roma could be key at both ends of the table.

Despite some questionable Serie A results in recent weeks, the Nerazzurri still lead by six points and come in off a 1-0 win over Lecce. A big boost: my boy Lautaro Martinez is back! He’s been lethal this season with 14 goals in 26 games and has scored in two of his last three against Roma making him a strong “anytime scorer” pick. In fact, my bet of the day is that he will get on the scoresheet. Then there’s Federico Dimarco whose creativity (13 assists) also stands out, particularly for assist or set-piece markets.

Roma, though, have their own threat. Donyell Malen has hit 7 goals in 10 league appearances and looks their most dangerous outlet, especially with Dybala and Dovbyk still out.

Betting Tips:

Napoli vs Milan: Serie A Betting Tips & Prediction

Luka Modric of AC Milan passing the ball

Napoli vs AC Milan isn’t just a big game, it’s one that could seriously shake up the Serie A title race.

Inter still lead by six points, but their recent wobble (just 2 points from the last 3 games) has opened the door. Milan sit closest, while Napoli are just a point behind them and come in red-hot, winning their last four matches. That form alone makes them a dangerous side here.

Milan, on the other hand, are pushing hard. They’ve won three of their last four and are aware that a win here keeps real pressure on Inter. Given both teams are in form and chasing something big, this feels like a tight, high-stakes contest. Goals could be scarce here, and a draw or Under 2.5 Goals looks like the safest option.

Picks:

Freiburg vs Bayern: Bundesliga Predictions & Best Odds

Bayern Munich squad celebrating a goal

Bayern Munich head to Freiburg closing in on the Bundesliga title and their form makes them hard to oppose. The Bavarians are unbeaten in 12 games and have scored 4+ goals in four of their last five, including a 4-0 win over Union Berlin. With a nine-point lead at the top, they’re in full control. But could this mean they’ll take their foot off the gas and focus on the more important UCL tie against Real Madrid? Perhaps.

Freiburg, though, aren’t pushovers at home. They’ve lost just twice at Europa-Park Stadion this season and come in off back-to-back wins, including a big 5-1 turnaround against Genk. That said, consistency has been an issue.

Also, Freiburg have won none of their last 9 home matches against Bayern Munich which is a huge problem. So, I’m taking a Bayern win here with goals also looking likely.

Betting Tips:

Monaco vs Marseille: Ligue 1 Betting Tips

Aubameyang celebrating for Marseille in a Ligue 1 match

Monaco welcome Marseille in a mouth-watering clash as Ligue 1 heads into its run-in. Sébastien Pocognoli’s side have been flying, unbeaten in nine and winners of their last six, including a comeback 2-1 win over Lyon. Folarin Balogun is a major threat, netting seven goals in his last seven outings.

Marseille, in contrast, are inconsistent, dropping points in a 2-1 defeat to Lille before the international break. A win for Monaco would see them level with their southern rivals, putting pressure on Marseille in the battle for a top-three finish and a coveted Champions League spot. It’s a clash full of momentum and scoring potential.
