Nottingham Forest vs. Chelsea
Forest have endured a miserable run under Ange Postecoglou, losing four of their last five league matches (all without scoring) and sitting just one point above the relegation zone. They’ve also lost five of their last seven home games and could suffer a third straight home defeat for the first time since 2021. Historically, they’ve managed just one win in their last eight Premier League meetings with Chelsea, and they’ve lost three of the last four home encounters.
Chelsea, meanwhile, arrive with renewed confidence after a 2–1 win over Liverpool before the international break, courtesy of goals from Moisés Caicedo and 17-year-old Estevão. That victory ended a three-game winless streak and lifted the Blues to seventh place, just three points off the top four. However, away form remains a major issue as they have only three wins from their last 14 Premier League road games and just 27% of their 2025 points earned away from home.
Enzo Maresca’s side are hampered by injuries to key players including Levi Colwill, Cole Palmer and Liam Delap, while Enzo Fernández remains doubtful for the game. Maresca himself will serve a touchline ban. However, Forest’s lack of cutting edge and Chelsea’s superior head-to-head record make the visitors slight favorites despite travel struggles.
Betting Tips:
Brighton vs. Newcastle United
Brighton host Newcastle at the Amex on Saturday with both sides level on points, but history strongly favours the Seagulls. Brighton are unbeaten in eight Premier League home games against Newcastle (W3 D5) – the Magpies’ lowest win rate (13%) against any club faced 3+ times. Brighton have also lost just once in their last 11 home league matches (W6 D4), alternating wins and draws since April.
Newcastle, meanwhile, struggle away from home. All three of their away matches this season have ended 0-0, and they’ve failed to score in four consecutive away league games for the first time since 2015. Despite this, they’ve been defensively solid, keeping five clean sheets and conceding only five goals, the second-best in the division.
With Newcastle’s 7.5% shot conversion rate among the league’s worst, and Brighton’s strong home form, the stats point toward another tight, low-scoring encounter, but one that Brighton are unlikely to lose.
Betting Tips:
Manchester City vs. Everton
Manchester City return from the international break aiming to extend their dominance over Everton, having gone 16 Premier League meetings unbeaten against the Toffees (W13 D3) since January 2017. At the Etihad, Everton are winless in 14 straight league visits (D6 L8) since 2010, and David Moyes has never won an away PL match against a side that finished in last season’s top three (P36 D12 L24).
Pep Guardiola is averaging 2.04 league points per game in 2025 and his side is scoring a league-high 55 goals this calendar year. They’ve also won seven of their last eight home matches, the last two by 3+ goals. Erling Haaland leads the scoring charts with nine goals in seven games and could become the first player ever to reach 10+ goals in his team’s opening eight matches three different times. Interestingly, Guardiola’s men are evolving tactically. Their 57.6% possession and 541 passes per game are the lowest under Pep across his managerial career. Rodri’s injury remains a concern: since 2021, City averages 2.4 points with him versus 1.8 without.
Despite Everton’s recent upturn (six wins in 10 league games) history, stats, and form all point to another comfortable Manchester City win, with Haaland being the driving force for Pep’s side and BetKing has the best odds for that.
Betting Tips:
Fulham vs. Arsenal
Arsenal travel to Craven Cottage on Saturday looking to stay top of the Premier League and extend their fine London derby record. The Gunners have lost just one of their last 18 league derbies (W13 D4) and only once in 18 away games against London sides since 2022 (also at Fulham, 2-1 in December 2023).
Fulham have beaten Arsenal just once in their last 14 Premier League meetings (D4 L9) and have conceded in 20 straight against them. However, the Cottagers are unbeaten in all three home games this season (W2 D1) and last won three in a row at Craven Cottage in December 2023.
Arsenal’s defence has been elite, restricting opponents to fewer than 10 shots in six consecutive games, a club-record run since data began in 2003-04. Offensively, they’ve had nine different goalscorers, the joint-most in the league, and rank first in counter-attacking phases (14), showing greater variety and pace in attack.
Declan Rice remains key, with a goal involvement in each of Arsenal’s last two matches and six goal contributions in his last seven away London derbies. Fulham’s recent form (two straight defeats, six goals conceded) suggests Arsenal should have the upper hand in this capital clash.
Betting Tips:
Barcelona vs. Girona
Barcelona will look to bounce back from consecutive defeats when they host Girona in Saturday’s Catalan derby. Hansi Flick’s side are second in La Liga, two points behind Real Madrid, and desperate to respond after a 4-1 loss to Sevilla and a 2-1 Champions League defeat to PSG.
Barcelona have dominated this fixture, winning seven of 11 meetings and averaging over three goals per game against Girona. However, the visitors (currently 18th in La Liga) are unbeaten in their last three and beat Valencia 2-1 before the international break for their first win of the season. With six of Barca’s nine goals conceded this season coming before halftime, expect some earlier action.
Barcelona’s injury list remains long: Lewandowski, Raphinha, Olmo, Gavi, and ter Stegen are all out. Ferran Torres faces a late fitness test but should start, while Marcus Rashford continues to lead the line after scoring his first La Liga goal at Sevilla. Lamine Yamal may return from injury but is likely to be eased in.
Girona also face major absences, including Alejandro Frances and Ivan Martin (suspended) and Van de Beek and David Lopez (injured).
Betting Tips:
AS Roma vs. Inter
Saturday night’s Serie A clash sees second-placed Roma host a red-hot Inter Milan, who are chasing their sixth straight win in all competitions. This historic fixture has produced 532 goals – the most in Serie A history – and Inter are just one goal away from 300 against Roma.
Roma have made a superb start under Gian Piero Gasperini, winning five of six league games while conceding just two goals, the best defensive record in Italy. They’ve won their last three league matches, including a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina, but haven’t beaten Inter at home since 2016.
Inter, meanwhile, boast Serie A’s most dangerous attack with 17 goals and nine different scorers. They’ve won five straight across all competitions and scored 4+ goals in three of those matches. However, they’ve conceded half their goals in the final 15 minutes, a weakness Roma may look to exploit.
Head-to-head, Inter are unbeaten in eight away league games against Roma (W4 D4), scoring in 11 consecutive trips to the Olimpico. Roma’s Matias Soule has three goals this season, while Inter captain Lautaro Martínez has four in his last three. Our bet of the day is for him to score this weekend and on BetKing, you can get 2.9x your betting stake.
Betting Tips:
Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund
The 138th Der Klassiker promises fireworks as unbeaten Bayern Munich host Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena. Bayern have been flawless under Vincent Kompany, winning all six Bundesliga games and all 10 competitive matches this season, their best start since joining the league in 1965. They’ve scored a record 25 goals in six games and netted 3+ goals in each of their last seven league matches, while conceding just three times and keeping five straight clean sheets.
Harry Kane is in red-hot form, bagging 11 goals in six Bundesliga games, including two hat-tricks, and could equal his personal best of scoring in seven consecutive club games.
Dortmund, unbeaten in 14 league matches, have made a solid start with four wins and two draws, conceding only four goals. However, their attack may suffer if Serhou Guirassy - who has scored a third of their league goals - misses out, no thanks to a battle with a thigh injury. For this game, I advise our online betting community to stick to the goal markets.
Betting Tips:
Liverpool vs. Manchester United
Anfield hosts another fiery edition of English football’s biggest rivalry as Liverpool face Manchester United on Sunday. History and stats heavily favour the Reds as they’ve lost just one of their last 14 Premier League meetings with United and are unbeaten in nine straight home league games against them since 2016. Another positive result would see Liverpool equal Chelsea’s record of 10+ unbeaten home games versus United.
However, Arne Slot’s side are wobbling, having lost three straight matches, their worst run since 2021. Key players like Salah, Konaté, and new signing Wirtz have struggled for rhythm, and Liverpool haven’t lost four in a row in 38 years, making this a crucial response game.
United’s own troubles run deep: they are winless in eight away league games, their worst streak since 1989, and haven’t won back-to-back away games against reigning champions since 1908. Amorim’s men beat Sunderland just before the international break, but face a huge test at Anfield, where they haven’t won in nine years.
Mohamed Salah, with 16 goals in 17 appearances against United, remains the key threat and given Liverpool’s home record and United’s travel woes, the stats point toward another Anfield victory.
Betting Tips:
Tottenham Hotspur vs. Aston Villa
Tottenham host Aston Villa in what promises to be a high-tempo clash between two top-four hopefuls. Remarkably, none of the last 20 league meetings between these teams have ended in a draw with Spurs winning 14 and Villa six. However, Villa have claimed victory in four of the last six encounters, matching their tally from the previous 29.
Thomas Frank’s Tottenham have lost just once in seven league games and sit third, though they’ve won only three of their last 17 home matches (L10). A 2-1 win at Leeds before the break steadied the ship, with Mohammed Kudus and Mathys Tel impressing. But they remain without Maddison, Kulusevski, and Dragusin, though they could welcome Randal Kolo Muani back to the fold.
Unai Emery’s Villa come into this game in good form after four straight wins in all competitions and have won eight of their last ten matches following international breaks, including a 2-1 victory at Spurs last season. Also worth noting is 9 of Villa’s last 10 league games after breaks have featured over 2.5 goals. Morgan Rogers and Donyell Malen have been key in attack, though Ollie Watkins remains a doubt.
Given both sides’ attacking intent and tendency for high-scoring games, another thriller looks likely.
Betting Tips:
Getafe vs. Real Madrid
Getafe host Real Madrid in a Madrid derby where history and form both favour the visitors. Los Blancos have beaten Getafe 30 times in LaLiga including the last 6 where Getafe have failed to score in six of those games. The Azulones have won only 1 of their last 23 Madrid derbies.
Getafe began the season well but are now winless in four (D2 L2), scoring 4 and conceding 8 in that run; they’re hard to break down at home but lack cutting edge. Real Madrid recovered from a 5–2 derby defeat with consecutive big wins in Europe and La Liga, scoring 13 in their last five and relying on Vinícius and Jude Bellingham for creativity and goals.
I suspect Bordalás will deploy a deep, compact block and seek counters through Greenwood and Ünal; Madrid will overload the flanks and exploit transitions with Camavinga/Tchouaméni feeding the front three. That said, the visitors have way too much quality to fumble this one.
